1. Content analysis – Estimation and requirements

In this first phase, you may e-mail the files to translate in electronic format and I will analyze the project to estimate the number of words and time frame, assess the technical peculiarities and agree a fair rate. The price for the job is determined based on the number of source words and a per-word rate that depends on the technical complexity and the language combination. Turnaround times may vary according to my availability and the difficulty of the text. Generally, however, allow for 1 business day for each 3,000 words. Rush turnaround times can be as short as 24 hours or same-day delivery, based on the length of the text.

2. Project translation and proofreading

My work begins once you have approved the quote and the deadline. Working hand in hand with your company, I will agree a terminology and create glossaries, translation memories and style guides to guarantee consistency in the final text. I provide high quality translations after a double proofreading check. I also conduct technical tests when needed. I virtually work with every type of file, always respecting the original format. In this phase of the process, I work with the most innovative technologies in order to offer a flawless result. With specialized programs such as SDL Trados Studio, Déjà Vu, Wordfast, Passolo, IBM Translation Manager and several terminological tools, the translation will meet your highest standards and expectations.

3. Final delivery

When establishing which is the original and which is the translation is virtually impossible, then is the perfect time of delivery. My commitment to deadline, set out by the client, is essential to my business. I am used to work with tight deadlines and I have never missed one! In exceptional cases, such as rush turnaround or assignments on non-working days, exceptional solutions will be applied.
